Afraid to Make Cartoons: This Academy Is for You

FRAMEBURST ACADEMY 1

Too Long; Drew Rabbits (TL;DR)

TL;DR is a pun. And yes, this is your summary.

Most people who want to make cartoons (Animations) never start. Not because they’re lazy. Not because they are untalented.

But because they do not know where to begin, what actually matters, or whether animation is even for them.

FrameBurst Academy is a step-by-step path that teaches you how to create story-time animations from absolute zero, without confusion or missing steps.

Welcome: What You’re About to begin (And Why This Is Different)?

First, take a Breath:

At least one of these is probably true if you’re here:

  • You believe that creating cartoons, or animating, is too tough or costly.
  • You like animated story videos on YouTube.
  • You have thought, “I wish I could do this.”
  • You don’t know where to begin.
  • You’re just curious and unsure.
  • Or you tried before and gave up.

Good news: you are exactly who this Academy is for.

You don’t need talent.
You don’t need art school.
You don’t need expensive software.

You just need someone to explain things properly. That’s what this is.

What Actually Is FrameBurst Academy?

FrameBurst Academy is a free, step-by-step learning path for people who want to get into animation -especially making story-time animation videos for YouTube, like the ones on Takzicution Tales.

Not movie animation.
Not studio animation.
Not complicated, fancy stuff.

Simply narrative, music, pictures, and consistency-explained gradually and intelligibly.

Yet are overburdened, perplexed, or unsure of where to begin. This is not a “watch once and forget” tutorial series. It’s also unquestionably not an art school.

Consider it more like a game:

  1. You start at Level 1.
  2. You unlock skills as you go.
  3. Nothing is rushed.
  4. Nothing important is skipped.

Each level builds on the last.

If you skip a level, things will feel confusing later – and that’s intentional.

Why This Academy Exists?

YouTube tutorials have a problem.

They are:

  • Scattered all over the place.

  • Either too short or too advanced.

  • Focused on tools instead of thinking.

  • Made for people who already know things.

So starters feel lost.

FrameBurst Academy fixes that by:

  • Teaching in the right order.
  • Putting everything in one place.
  • Explaining like a friend, not a teacher.
  • Respecting people with no money, no background, and no confidence, yet.

How Learning Will Feel Here?

I want to make this very clear.

    There won’t be any haste.

You will not be talked down to.

You will not be expected to “already know” anything.

    Each lesson will:

  1. Explain what we’re doing.

  2. Explain why we’re doing it.

  3. Explain what comes next.

    Sometimes things will feel slow.
    That’s on purpose.

Slow learning sticks. Fast learning disappears. Keep that in mind.

But when do we actually DO something?

Great question – and yes, you will.

Very early in this Academy, you’ll:

  1. Set things up properly.
  2. Choose a channel name.
  3. Think about your identity.
  4. Create a YouTube channel.

Even before animation starts.

Why?

Because feeling like you are building something real matters more than memorising basics.

Who this Beginner Level is actually for:

This level is made for you if:

  • You think you “can’t draw.”
  • You’ve never animated before.
  • You’re scared of wasting time or money.
  • You need clear steps, not vague advice.
  • Children, students or parents wanting to help their kids.
  • You once tried animation (Making cartoons)… and quietly gave up.
  • You watch story-time animations and think: “I wish I could do that.”
  • You’re a student, a kid, or someone who can’t afford paid courses or art school.

If that sounds like you – you’re exactly where you need to be.

One Important Promise:

Every person is different.

  • Some people like sound.
  • Some people like editing.
  • Some people draw easily.
  • Some people think in stories.

Our Academy respects that. You will learn many animation techniques, allowing you to select the one that best suits your needs.

What this level is NOT?

Let us be clear about something early.

    This Beginner Level is not:

  • About speed
  • About being perfect
  • About fancy and expensive software
  • About going up against experts or professionals

This may feel too slow at first if that’s what you’re after.

    And that’s okay.

This level is about courage, not polish.

What youll actually learn here (Without the scary words):

In the Beginner Level, we focus on things most courses skip – because they assume you already know them.

Here, you’ll learn:

  1. What are these lessons going to help you with (Currently)?
  2. What animation really is (And what it isn’t)?
  3. The different types of animation (So you don’t feel lost).
  4. Whether animation is even worth your time.
  5. How to think like an animator before touching software?
  6. Basic drawing using simple shapes, not talent.
  7. How to observe gestures, postures, and movement instead of guessing.
  8. When animation needs movement – and when it doesn’t.
  9. How to set yourself up properly without overwhelm?
  10. How to take your first real step into animation?

No pressure.

No pretending it’s easy.

No “you should already know this.”

Why were starting slow on purpose:

Most people quit animation because they rush.

    They jump into:

  • Long tutorials
  • Advanced terms
  • Unreal expectations
  • Complicated software and tools

And when they get stuck, they assume they are the problem. They are not.

This Beginner Level exists to make sure:

  • You build confidence before complexity.
  • You feel progress early – even if it’s small.
  • You understand why you’re doing things.

Because little progress beats motivation every time.

A quick promise from us:

I am not teaching this as someone who was always great and talented at animation.

I’m teaching this as someone who:

  • Felt slow
  • Got confused
  • Made mistakes
  • Learned the hard way
  • Compared himself to others

If something confused me when I was learning or something still confuses me, it belongs here.

And if you ever feel stuck during this level, that does not mean you’re failing.

Instead, it means you’re learning.

How Often Do Lessons Come Out?

A new FrameBurst Academy tutorial is uploaded every week, on Thursday.

No pressure to keep up.

No guilt if you miss one.

This is not a race.

Your Next Step?

If you’ve read this far, you’ve already done something important.

You stopped for a moment and asked yourself an honest question:

“Is animation something I want to explore?”

You don’t need to decide your entire future today. Curiosity is enough for now.

The next step in FrameBurst Academy is not about drawing better or animating faster. It’s about understanding the world of animation itself.

Many beginners think animation is just “making cartoons.”
In reality, there are many different types of animation, each with its own style, techniques, and tools.

Some animators draw every frame by hand.
Some move characters using rigs.
Some animate objects in the real world.

Before we begin learning how to animate, it helps to see the bigger picture.

In the next lesson, we’ll explore:

The different types of animation and how they work.

Once you understand the landscape, you’ll see exactly where story-time animation fits into it.

FrameBurst Academy continues next Wednesday.

Welcome to FrameBurst Academy. Level 1 begins now. 🎮
You’ve already started, and see you until the next relive. ✨🎬
